All I’ve Become

This piece is part of a contrasting diptych with “You’ll Never Be More Than Just a Woman.”

This piece is a Mixed Media painting, 16’x 12’x 2’ on wood panel, brought to life with 1950’s-1960’s magazine articles, acrylic paint, tape, and pen/ink. This work was created to show the societal expectations and limitations women experienced and went through. The intentions were to express what women wanted to be versus what they were seen to be, and the frustration, demotivation, and silence that goes along with it.

This work was created in 2024.
